Interview results from employers from across 7 industry sectors in Singapore showed: 19% forecasted an increase in staffing levels, 3% anticipated a decrease and 78% expected no change
The survey indicated that once the data was adjusted for seasonal variations, the outlook seemed promising at 18%.
The most robust hiring activities were anticipated in the services sector, with net employment outlook of 25%. Transportation and utilities sector are next at 20% followed by public administration and education sector at 19%.
