Well done, Ministry of Manpower [MOM] for bring some 37 bogus grads from China to court. They were subsequently deported after being found guilty. It is quite common to find those with fake university qualifications seeking jobs here. What the Straits Times higlighted in its report of 16 Sep is more scary. These migrant job seekers told the court that the fake degrees were forced on them by agents. The authorities should go after these agents, too.
The authorities in both the host and sending counttires should weed out this menance that tarnishes the image and reputation of genuine employment agencies.
