The survey indicated that once the data was adjusted for seasonal variations, the outlook seemed promising at 18%.
The most robust hiring activities were anticipated in the services sector, with net employment outlook of 25%. Transportation and utilities sector are next at 20% followed by public administration and education sector at 19%.

UNEMPLOYMENT RATES HIGHEST AMONG YOUNGER WORKERS

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore released these statistics last week:
1, for residents in late 20s: 5.8%
2. for residents under 24: 8.8%
